CMBA continues its partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis in inviting members to participate in the Minneapolis Fed's twice annual Construction Sector Survey.  The spring 2026 edition begins May 8th, and closes May 22nd.

CMBA members who complete the survey will help the Minneapolis Fed and their local partners learn how the current economy is affecting the construction industry. Results also help inform business leaders, policymakers, and the general public about current conditions impacting our industry.

The survey takes about 8 minutes to complete. The questions are best answered by an owner or key financial decision-maker of your business.

All responses are kept confidential. When completing the questions, please do not provide any personal or identifying information in the comments. All information provided in response to the survey will be managed according to the terms of the Minneapolis Fed Privacy Notice.

The Minneapolis Fed always provides results of the survey to an industry audience in a free webinar once results are available.  They may also make aggregated data and anonymized responses available to the public.
