CMBA and the City of St. Cloud collaborated in putting-on a Stormwater Workshop for CMBA member builders and landscape contractors on Monday, March 4th.  The City of St. Cloud hosted the workshop at the city's Wastewater Treatment Facility in South St. Cloud.

City of St. Cloud Stormwater Compliance Specialist, Noah Czech, and City Water Quality Coordinator, Rocio Durkot, delivered the workshop, attended by eight CMBA members.  The workshop focused on best practices for preventing silt and other contaminants from entering the city's stormwater system, and what is expected at construction sites under local and state stormwater regulations.

Czech said he has found it helpful to work with CMBA in sharing information and building good working relationships instead of only interacting with builders and contractors in an enforcement situation.
