          Find out the latest in the state’s implementation of the so-called “Worker    
          Misclassification” law passed recently which imposes new requirements on the status of
          Independent Contractor.  DLI has yet to post clear directions for employers, so this will be
          an interesting exchange that hopefully sheds new light on this important issue impacting
          CMBA members.

8:35  MN Update (Steve Gottwalt, CMBA Government Affairs; Nick Erickson &
          Mark Foster, Housing First MN) – The latest on the State Building Code, Lead Paint rules,
          Energy Code, legislative priorities for 2025, lawsuit challenging permit fees, and more..

8:50  Local Government Affairs (Steve Gottwalt, CMBA Government affairs) – Updates on
          local cities’ actions, Chamber/CMBA Candidates Forums, and an update on
          the local Affordable Housing Initiative.

8:55  CMBA Members:  Open forum to bring-up regulatory challenges/concerns
